About me:

I'm an experienced couples and individual psychodynamic psychotherapist, with additional qualifications in systemic approaches to working with individuals, families and organisations. I trained at Tavistock and Portman Clinic and at Tavistock Relationships in London, a world-renowned institution and specialist in relationship therapy.

Therapy is a mutual process, where together we look at the conscious dynamics at play while seeking the less conscious material – subconscious thoughts and beliefs that might affect you and your relationships – to enable further understanding and transition and, ultimately, to create change.

With a psychodynamic grounding, I believe strongly in the importance of the therapeutic alliance – the trust between a client and therapist that is required to make progress and facilitate change. My approach is thus empathic and gentle. I offer clients a safe and non-judgemental space to explore thoughts, feelings, worries or any other anxieties and concerns.

Mutual trust allows openness and space for reflection, which in turn helps to facilitate growth – helping both individuals and couples find a clarity and a positive way forward.

Therapies offered:

  • Psychoanalytical and psychodynamic therapies

Professional bodies:

  • British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
