About me:

Welcome my name is Kerri.

I aim to offer a warm compassionate space where you feel truely seen, heard and accepted. I work in a trauma-informed, client centred way, adapoting to your unique needs and moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether your navigating the impacte from paste experiences or facing challenges in the present, we can begin in making senes of what feels important to you now.

I work exntensively with relational trauma, pain that occurs from close, trusted relationships. Experiences such as betrayal, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and ongoign emotional strain, can deeply affect your sense of safety, trust and self worth. You don;t need to define your experience at "trauma"to reach out; if something feels painful or confusing, thats enough. My apporach is grounded in compassion, collaboration and a commitment to making sure you feel understood rather than judged.

At the start of work together, we'll build on a sense of safety and clarity. We can explore what you need from therapy, what feels supportive, and what you might hope to change. I value your auntonomy throughout the process and welcome feedback, ensuring our work unfolds that feels collaborative and steady.

I am trained to work creatively and somaticcally, and may offer these approaches within our sessions. While this may not be for everyone there is no obligation to work in these ways, these apporaches can support the exploration of feelings or experiences that may be difficult to express verbally, and help foster a deeper connection with the body and mind.

To help you get a sense whether we're a good fit I offer a free 15 minute phone or online consultation. This gives you an oppertunity to ask questions and get a feel of how we might work together.
