I offer counselling to adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low mood, low confidence and self-esteem, suicidal ideation, bereavement, dementia, estrangement, family dynamics, relationship challenges, and experiences of abuse. I’ve worked with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds, which has given me a strong understanding of how emotional struggles can present in different ways — and how important it is to feel truly heard and understood.
I provide a calm, supportive space where you can slow things down, breathe, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing at your own pace. Many clients come to me feeling unsure of themselves, disconnected from who they are, or critical of their own thoughts and emotions. My aim is to help you build self-understanding, confidence, and a kinder relationship with yourself.
I work integratively, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to you as an individual. There’s no one-size-fits-all therapy here. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface, helping you gain clarity, emotional relief, and new perspectives.
At the heart of my practice is a collaborative relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect. I don’t see therapy as something “done to” you, but as a journey we take together — supporting you to reconnect with your strengths, develop resilience, and move towards greater balance and self-understanding.
If you’re considering counselling and wondering whether it could help, you’re very welcome to get in touch. We can explore what’s been going on for you and whether working together feels like the right next step
