About me:

My name is Louise. I am a Walk and Talk counsellor, offering counselling sessions for adults that take place outdoors whilst we walk side by side rather than sitting in a traditional therapy room. This approach can feel more relaxed and natural for many people, helping to ease anxiety and support conversation. I work from a person-centred approach, meaning I provide a safe, non-judgemental and empathic space where clients are supported to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.

I believe that walk and talk counselling recognises the therapeutic benefits of movement, fresh air and nature, while always placing the client's needs, autonomy and lived experience at the heart of the proces

I am currently Learning Welsh and BSL, in hope to support clients in Welsh and those who face barriers to counselling within the deaf community. I hold an Online and Telephone qualification to support clients via telephone and over Zoom when weather is not on our side, although some people find walking in the rain beneficial. This is the client choice.

  • Person-centred therapy
