Our dedicated Perinatal Mental Health Services are here to offer comprehensive care and assistance to those experiencing significant mental health challenges. We provide a tailored programme of treatment and support, delivered both within the community and at our specialised inpatient facility.
Our community-based support encompasses a wide array of services designed to be accessible and convenient. You can receive guidance and reassurance through telephone advice, attend outpatient consultations at local clinics, GP surgeries, or even in the comfort of your own home. We also understand the crucial role of family, so we extend our support and guidance to them as well. Our approach often includes medication management, alongside a variety of therapeutic interventions, all aimed at helping you on your journey to recovery.
To access our services, a national referral system is in place. Referrals must be completed by mental health professionals and then submitted to our ward email address for careful triage. Should you have any queries regarding this process, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the ward directly.
You can reach us by telephone on 01962 897711 for the Mother And Baby Unit, or 01962 897700 for Melbury Reception. For written correspondence, our email address is clovermbu@southernhealth.nhs.uk.
It's important to remember that here at Clover, our service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This means you can contact us by phone at any time, day or night, if you need to speak with us.
If you find yourself concerned about your mental well-being or that of a family member during the perinatal period, your General Practitioner is an excellent first point of contact for support and advice. They can provide initial guidance and help you navigate the next steps.
