Llanelli Free Evangelical Church offers a warm and inviting welcome to everyone who attends their services, both on Sundays and throughout the week. This strong sense of community and fellowship is at the heart of the church's approach, making it a place where individuals can quickly feel at ease and connected with others.
Beyond the regular worship, the church provides a range of activities that cater to different age groups and interests. On Mondays, from 10 am to 12 pm, they host a 'Drop in for a cuppa,' a free and relaxed gathering where people can enjoy a drink and a chat. For families with young children, there are activities for pre-schoolers on Tuesdays from 9.30 am to 11 am, also with free entry. Friday evenings are dedicated to the younger generation, with activities for those aged 3-11 from 6 pm to 7 pm and for those aged 12-18 from 7.30 pm to 9 pm.
The Sunday services are a central part of the church's activities. The morning service starts at 10:30 am, while the evening service begins at 6:00 pm. Every other Sunday evening, the service starts with a 30-minute period of coffee and cake, encouraging a sense of community before the service begins at 6:30 pm. Holy Communion is celebrated every two weeks, adding a deeper spiritual element to the services. Recognising the needs of a wider audience, all Sunday services are broadcast live online, ensuring they are accessible for those who cannot attend in person.
For those interested in exploring the Christian faith further, the church offers the 'Hope Explored' course. This three-session course looks at the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, providing a basic understanding of Christian beliefs. Additionally, the church organises 'Lifegroups' every Tuesday, both at the church building and via Zoom, offering opportunities for prayer and fellowship for those who prefer to meet online.
The church also has a dedicated 'Kidzone' for children and young people.
