Bluesci at Night provides a unique and welcoming alternative to traditional crisis support services, fostering a friendly and supportive community environment. Our primary goal is to assist individuals experiencing emotional distress by working collaboratively to identify and implement effective coping strategies. The aim is not only to address immediate crises but also to equip people with the tools and techniques necessary to prevent future occurrences, ultimately helping them build a more fulfilling life.
This vital service is accessible to all residents of Trafford. You can find us located at the Old Trafford Wellbeing Centre, 54-56 Seymour Grove, Manchester, M16 0LN.
We operate seven nights a week, including Bank Holidays, from 5:30 PM until 12:30 AM, with the last entry at 12:00 AM. Our dedicated team of qualified mental health practitioners and support staff are on hand to offer guidance and advice in a relaxed and comfortable setting, providing a much-needed alternative to potentially lengthy waits in emergency departments.
Beyond immediate crisis intervention, Bluesci at Night offers individual sessions with experienced mental health professionals. We are committed to supporting individuals in maintaining their wellbeing at home and actively signpost to other relevant local support services that can offer ongoing assistance. Our interventions are designed to help you pinpoint positive coping strategies that resonate with your personal journey.
To ensure we can provide you with the best possible support and arrange a smooth meet and greet, we kindly request that you call or text us on 07933 882743 before attending the crisis cafe. You can also reach us via email at crisiscafe@bluesci.org.uk for more information. Our space is designed to be a safe haven, available every night of the year for anyone in emotional distress or experiencing a mental health crisis. We also offer various group activities during our operational hours; details for these can be found in the Old Trafford Wellbeing Centre What's On Guide.
