The 999 Club offers a dedicated haven for women, a place designed to foster strength and provide crucial assistance to those navigating challenging circumstances. If you identify as a woman and are experiencing homelessness, feel unsafe in your current accommodation, or are grappling with significant financial difficulties, we warmly invite you to visit us and speak confidentially with a member of our team.
Our staff are here to provide a welcoming presence, offering a friendly conversation, a sympathetic ear, or simply companionship. We understand that some situations require more specialised help, and in such cases, we are equipped to arrange referrals to relevant external agencies. Should an urgent need arise, we can also promptly secure more immediate support.
Beyond being a safe space, the Women's Sanctuary at the 999 Club strives to be a comprehensive support hub. We offer a range of practical provisions, understanding that basic necessities are often the most pressing concerns. This includes access to vital amenities like showers, laundry facilities, and a secure place to store personal belongings. Furthermore, we provide healthy, nutritious meals, ensuring that women have access to sustenance in a comfortable and respectful environment. Our aim is to address immediate needs while also empowering women to take steps towards greater stability and independence. We believe in offering practical help alongside emotional support, creating a holistic approach to assistance.
The Sanctuary operates from Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 3 pm.
